Mission Statement

The mission of the Pensacola Faith Based Initiative Coalition is to promote family bonding, assist families with becoming self-sufficient, and provide technical assistance and referral services to assist those in need. We will strengthen the entire family, fathers, Mothers, children, grandparents to ensure that they are able to make positive steps toward a productive future in our communities. This will occur through the cooperation and partnership of our coalition and the communities that we serve. Education for disadvantaged and at risk youth; assistance for women of domestic violence and abuse; assistance for aids victims and their families; support through crisis intervention for families in turmoil; creation of youth learning centers and mentoring in the Arts; Mentoring for the young struggling with anger and apathy; skills development and training for the elderly to enter or re-enter the job market; and finally financial and economic development communities.

  • SELF SUFFICIENCY AND SUSTAINABILITY FOR MEMBER ORGANIZATIONS
PFBIC recognizes and accepts that its role in managing a high quality collaborative organization must include leadership as it relates to individual member organizations’ core administrative and management capacities.
PFBIC intends to provide training and support to member organizations in the development of these capacities. The intent is to ensure the growth, sustainability and accountability of each member organization. Potential topics to be addressed include, but are not limited to, financial management, personnel management, program development, and other relevant nonprofit management topics. Timeline: Immediately
